The Sunshine Award

My dearest blogging friend Brigitte from brigittebanter awarded me the Sunshine Award. Thank you, Brigitte! I remember the day I found you in Cyber Space…I first thought you were an Irish Bridget with a whole load of banter and now I know you live across the big pond and your banter is witty, fun to read and entertaining. Thank you for your gift!

The “rules” are the following:

  • Write ten things about yourself (done, see below)
  • Include the award’s logo in a post (done)
  • Nominate 10-12 other bloggers (done — see who you are below and c’mon, it’s fun and plus it’s a blog if you’re stumped for ideas)
  • Link to your nominees (done)
  • Link the person who nominated you (done)

So here I go….

Ten Things About Me

I take foot baths when I am writing.

I flew to Florence in 2010 to see Leonard Cohen and was sitting in the front row, three rows from Al Pacino who rejected the VIP entrance and paid the ticket, gentleman that he is.

I am still learning how to blog!

The love I have for my children overwhelms me so much it reduces me to tears sometimes. I am blessed.

I have cold hands but a warm heart.

I take a pillow with me when I am travelling.

I spent my fortieth birthday on an operating table.

I served Big Daddy breakfast.

I dance barefoot round my kitchen to very loud music.

Two out of three wishes that I made when I was sixteen has been granted.
